Where has the summer gone?

Wow. This summer certainly flew by, and while my kiddos still have almost 2 weeks before school starts, it is nearly over. We have mostly stayed home this summer, with a few fun short trips peppered in. We are definitely looking forward to getting back to the schedule of school and having some routine back.

I have finished my coaching certification and I am now going to be running an online fitness program from home, as well as cut back, but continue my hours working as a video relay interpreter. Our hope is that this opportunity will give us the chance to have more family time since I am working most Saturdays as of right now. Hours have been fairly scarce at work, and is just going to get worse. We feel like this is a fantastic opportunity for our family. If you are interested or would like to learn more, you can head over to my website: I would love the opportunity to work with you!

Savannah will be starting the 3rd grade at GCA in Mrs. Odgers class and Avery will be in 1st grade with Mrs. Maze. We are thrilled with the teachers they have and excited for this upcoming year. We know God has big plans for our girls this year and can’t wait to see him work through them.

Henry and Charlotte are just two peas in a pod. I love having this time at home with them and am savoring every last minute of this last year before Henry heads to school next year. Time goes by so fast, and I don’t wish it away for anything.

Dan has been quite busy between work and all the animals/gardening/work to do at home. I decided that I wanted to put in a huge garden on the side of my house filled with perennials like hostas and bulbs (I am collecting them if you are sharing 🙂 ) and so that will be time consuming the next few weeks. He has a few work trips coming up and we will hopefully be camping a few more times this fall.

We try to slow down and enjoy life and hope you can too!
