Last week we headed to Ohio to spend some time with family and friends. We helped with the annual CBF International Thanksgiving Banquet (something we look forward to each year). We miss the Holtz family and love the example they have set for us. .There was a great turnout and we had fun- as always! We stayed with Lyn and David for a few days. It was great to catch up with friends. Last year when we moved away there were no other babies other than Savannah and now there are so many babies to love on. Isabel and Avery even matched one of the days we were there. It was cute to see the girls play and interact together. We really miss our friends in Ohio, so it was nice to spend some quality time with them for a few days. We were able to go to Calvary on Sunday morning and catch up with everyone there too! We did the traditional lunch with the Sampsons (a favorite as always) and stayed with Jeff and Brittany Sunday night. It was great to hang out with them and have some adult time. Avery enjoyed playing with Wyatt and Savannah enjoyed getting chased around the house by Ellie. We stayed with my sister and her family from Monday until Saturday. My parents and sister arrived on Wednesday and there was quite the full house- 7 adults 5 kids and 3 dogs! We had a fantastic Thanksgiving on Thursday and celebrated Christmas together on Friday. It was Avery’s first time to really open presents and she quite enjoyed opening the presents. Savannah loved all the gifts she got- especially all the “princess” things and has worn her new princess dress pajamas pretty much every day since she got them. On Saturday we headed back to Indiana and had “Thanksgiving” with the Copeland side of the family. We were definitely stuffed after all the food we ate last week. There is so much that happened, but it is hard to cover it all so I am just going to keep it short and sweet. Here are some pictures from our time in Ohio.
