Last night we took the girls out for the first time to Trick-or-Treat. Our first stop was the Shelbyville Armory for Trunk-or-Treat where we saw a lot of people from church. Savannah was just happy to be in her costume! She has been begging to wear it for weeks. Renee “guilted” us into taking the girls back to Greenwood, even though we spent most of the day there, to see Mamaw and Papaw. We took the girls over to see Aunt Elaine and Aunt ‘Nita, Aunt Erica and Uncle Daryl, and Grandma Copeland. Grandma had special bags of animal crackers made up for the girls (good thing we went!). We took them over to see Grandma and Grandpa too! Savannah loved to ring door bells and say Trick-or-Treat. Apparently the pictures and the Armory tired out Avery because she ended up sleeping for most of our driving around. One thing that definitely made it hard this year was, since we live out in the country, you have to pretty much drive to every house. This makes getting in and out of the car hard since, obviously, both girls are in car seats. We did manage to get lots of pictures and candy, but both girls were exhausted by the time we got home!
