Well, not much has happened this week. It seems like things are slowing down, which is actually a good thing since I have been a bit tired these last few weeks.
Avery had her eye doctor appointment and for now they will leave them to see if she grows out of the blocked ducts. She will go back at the end of the summer for a re-check and possibly treatment if nothing has changed. They checked her eyes and so far everything looks perfect!
My best friend Amber and her husband Jared welcomed baby Claire Isabella to the world on Tuesday evening. She was a tiny 18 3/4 in. long and 6 lbs 11 oz. They are going to be such amazing parents!
I think Savannah has finally kicked whatever virus that was causing her fever this week. I don’t think it actually was rosiola since no rash actually appeared, but just some kind of virus.
Avery is now 15 weeks old and has started to consistently roll over this week and is much more “talkative”. She blabbers and coos a lot now. She is also much more interactive with her surroundings.
Savannah is coming down the final stretch until her 2nd birthday. I can’t believe how fast the last 2 years have gone by. I remember the last week of being pregnant with her and all the events that went on in the last 2 years since and man, it is hard to believe how much has changed. So many things have happened to us these last 2 years and I would not trade a single moment of any one given day!
Daniel and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary yesterday (Thursday May 12th). Dan bought me flowers and we went out to dinner to Siam Square in Fountain Square. It was really good Thai food and we enjoyed our evening out (without Savannah). Since it was a weeknight and Avery is still pretty little there was not much we could do for now, but hopefully sometime this summer we will get away for a night or two so we can have some “kid free” time.
